Kiki Wood || moksha | moksha flow
Kiki Wood was on a fast-paced path to a law school in Ottawa when she decided to take a year off after a grueling five-year undergrad degree. She had been practicing yoga since her days as a teenaged long distance runner, but it wasn’t until she tried Moksha yoga, and encountered the challenge presented by the hot room, that yoga really clicked for her. She decided to pursue teacher training during her gap year between degrees, and when it came time to apply to that law school in Ottawa, she found she just didn’t want to do it anymore. Instead, she wanted more of the clear-eyed feeling she could only seem to find in the hot room. Kiki has trained in pre-natal yoga, Moksha flow, and trauma-sensitive yoga, and students will find she offers a playful flow class that focuses on the feeling of freedom of breath, movement, and expression, and a back-to-basics Moksha class that emphasizes foundational micro-movements and meditation. She has not regretted her decision not to go to that law school in Ottawa.
