An acoustic based music festival that brings a diverse group of acoustic musicians together to perform and meet in a professional environment. The festival is organised by people in the Halifax music industry. This years line up includes Mo Kenney, Owen Steel, Ria Mae, and The Weather Station.
MovemberDuring November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health initiatives.
Speak Your Peace CampaignA Speak Your Peace event is organised each year by Moksha Yoga to coincide with the International Day for Human Rights. Candle-lit classes are held at studios on December 10th and all funds go to the New Leaf Yoga Foundation. Last year the campaign was focused around Restorative Justice.
